Hallie Cranford is a realtor in Northern Virginia representing buyers and sellers who want to sell a home or buy a home. She specializes in Loudoun, Fairfax, and Arlington Counties and is the realtor of choice if you want a friendly, personable, knowledgeable agent on your side. So, whether you are wanting to find your perfect home for sale in Sterling, VA, find a beautiful house in Ashburn or Arlington, or sell your Northern Virginia home, she is the realtor to call. Her goals for the site were:

• Develop a new website to promote real estate services to prospective home buyers and sellers.
• Provide the ability to feature home listings for sale with a photo gallery.
• Provide the ability to include a local area events listing.
• Optimize the site to drive search engine traffic.
• Allow their staff to update the website with new content, news, events and featured listings.

Katalyst worked with Hallie Cranford to define her needs and goals and developed a high-quality website that reflected her expertise in real estate in Northern Virginia. We worked with our strategic partners to develop a high-quality website that reflected Williams & Williams expertise in home remodeling services: D Banzon Design for graphic design, WriteView Communications for content development, and Jim Kirby Photography. Veritax Property Advisors provides cost segregation study services through a team of engineers, construction professionals and CPAs to assist commercial property owners in reducing their income tax liability and freeing up cash flow. Veritax works with various financial and legal professionals to provide a coordinated service to property owners. Their goals for the site were:

• Develop a new website to promote their company to prospective clients and affiliates.
• Provide a “back office” private login area for affiliates to store and access sales materials, case studies and forms.
• Optimize the site to drive search engine traffic.

Katalyst worked with Veritax and D Banzon Design to define their needs and goals. We developed custom website to reach those goals including a custom Tax Savings Calculator to allow prospective clients to get a feel for the potential tax savings they could realize through cost segregation.

Company Background and Goals:

Sportrock Indoor Climbing Centers are the premiere climbing gyms in the Metropolitan DC and mid-Atlantic area. They have been training climbers since 1994. Sportrock provides a first rate, top notch climbing experience that you can’t get anywhere else. They have two climbing gyms in Virginia, one in Alexandria and the other in Sterling, and offer nationally known classes and programs, both for indoors and outdoors, for everyone from the beginner to the expert. Sportrock’s mission is to “Provide the premiere rock climbing experience in the DC area.” They are “Building the body and mind through challenging adventure sport.” Their goals for the site were:

• Build their membership base > get more members
• Build community within their membership base

Katalyst Role:

We worked with Sportrock to develop their navigation structure, requirements for their events registration system, and website design to meet their goals and objectives. We implemented the Joomla content management system and developed a custom events registration component to allow their customers to register for classes online and pay via credit card. We also implemented an online email newsletter along with a members’ discussion board.

Organization Background and Goals:

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, situated in the Dulles and Route 28 Corridors, serves businesses in western Fairfax and eastern Loudoun Counties. The Chamber serves one of the nation’s foremost high-tech corridors and acts as a resource, public affairs advocate and community partner for 1,000 businesses and affiliates. Their mission is to promote and facilitate the success of businesses and the communities they serve through networking, workforce development, outreach, and advocacy. Their goals for the site were:

• Significantly upgrade and enhance their website both in terms of look and feel as well as functionality;
• Provide online resources to your target audience to promote commerce in the Dulles Regional area;
• Provide a link for members to access their IRM membership contact information;
• Allow online event registration and payment;
• Enable staff to update and add content, events, banner advertisements, and more.

Katalyst Role:

We worked with our strategic design partner, D Banzon Design, to outline the chamber’s requirements and goals for the website. D Banzon Design then developed the overall website layout, which we implemented for the Joomla Content Management System. We developed a custom events registration component to allow the chamber to accept online registrations and payment for the events. We also implemented a banner advertising feature to allow the chamber to offer online advertising on their website as a revenue generator.

Stage2 Marketing is one of our strategic partner marketing firms. We worked with their design layout and implemented it for the Joomla Content Management System, which allows them to update their content and portfolio. They also offer a syndicated news feed feature that automatically pulls in various commercial real estate news articles and presents the news items on their website.

Company Background and Goals:

The Big Red Gym Bus is a gym on wheels that offers gymnastics programs for children (ages 2-6) in daycares. The “gym” is a converted school bus with carpeted and padded floors and walls, special heating and air conditioning, and a stereo sound system. They are able to take the gym to the school, which offers great convenience for the daycare facility. Their goals for the site were:

• Encourage parents to sign-up their children for the classes and provide parents information on their fitness program.
• Provide the ability for parents to easily enroll and pay for classes online.
• Provide up-to-date information to the current parents the schedule, weather-related cancellations, etc.
• Encourage client-schools and their parent corporations to include LIFE Gymnastics in their core fitness and physical development educational program.

Katalyst Role:

We worked with the Big Red Gym Bus to develop the navigation structure and website design that met their goals and objectives. We implemented the Joomla content management system, which allowed their staff to easily update their content, schedules and cancellation notices. We also created an online payment capability, which allows parents to enroll their children and pay for their semester online.

Background and Goals:

Rose Solari is a poet, writer, and teacher whose current work focuses on the intersection of myth and life. She is the author of two full-length collections of poems, Orpheus in the Park and Difficult Weather, as well as two chapbooks of poems, Selections from Myths & Elegies and The Stolen World. Rose authored and performed in the multi-media play Looking for Guenevere, an Arthurian retelling, and is currently at work on a historical novel. Her goals for the website were:
