The Big Event - Special Event Website

Organization Background and Goals:

The BIG Event is an annual event sponsored by Gateway Community Church and local area businesses in the Loudoun County and Fairfax County areas. Gateway had the following goals for the site:

• Provide an informational site for people to learn about the event.
• Allow people to register online for receiving a service project and have an e-mail confirmation automatically sent to the registrant as well as to the registration team.
• Provide information to prospective sponsors for the event.

Katalyst Role:

For The Big Event, we created a custom design for the site, using their colors, logo, and pictures of their community. We also tied thematically with their printed brochure, flyers and banners so that they had a consistent look and branding for all of their promotional materials. The Big Event is sponsored by Gateway Community Church and so we tied back into Gateway’s website and logo, while emphasizing the event itself.
