Your web presence is so much more than another brochure. In previous months we’ve talked about the importance of why you need a good web presence. Essentially, it boils down to this: your website is a reflection of your organization. It should be a living, breathing representation of who you are.
Web Collaboration is a very hot topic these days. In its most basic sense, it refers to using the Internet to collaborate or work together with other people. One of the great things about the Internet and web collaboration is that people can be spread out across the whole country, or in different parts of the world for that matter, and still work together.
Last month we explored the concept of using a good email subject line. We now recognize that the first step is getting your audience to open their email. The second step is getting them to read it and respond.
In July, we explored the importance of determining your goals and understanding your audience. Once you’re there, you are ready to begin writing content for your website. While your brochures are a good place to start, you shouldn’t simply copy that content straight to your website. Think through what you need to say on the web and how to say it to your target audience.
